Shore team station
The driver and shore support team need their own clean view. They are the reason the boat gets gear, fuel, parking, and fewer dockside mysteries.
Truck rules
- Never below 1/4 tank.
- Clearance is 11 ft. Respect the overhead things.
- Wait for the glow plug and let the engine warm up.
- Keep key gear grouped for fast dock handoff.
Chicago to St. Ignace
- Start at 215 South Wabash after Chicago support wraps.
- Head to St. Ignace Marina, 13 S State St.
- Check in with Tim and get the temporary parking pass.
- Unload and reload in the order the next move needs.
Mackinac to Port Huron
- Meet boat and gear at Mackinaw City Municipal Marina.
- Refuel truck and boat support at St. Ignace.
- Stage the van at St. Ignace Marina lot if needed.
- Confirm next-day Port Huron plan before rolling.
